Job Description
We are seeking a meticulous and detail-oriented Price Auditor to join our Ecommerce platform. As a Price Auditor, you will be responsible for ensuring accurate pricing and promotional information across our product catalog. You will conduct regular audits, perform price comparisons, and investigate pricing discrepancies to maintain the integrity of our platform and enhance customer trust. The ideal candidate has strong analytical skills, a keen eye for detail, and a solid understanding of pricing strategies in the Ecommerce industry.

- Conduct regular audits of product prices and promotional information to ensure accuracy and consistency
- Perform price comparisons with competitors and market trends to identify pricing opportunities and risks
- Investigate pricing discrepancies and resolve issues in a timely manner
- Collaborate with the pricing team to develop and implement effective pricing strategies
- Monitor pricing trends and market dynamics to make recommendations for pricing adjustments
- Analyse and monitor the Profit and Loss (P&L) impact of pricing decisions and initiatives
- Maintain and update pricing databases, ensuring all information is current and accurate
- Work closely with cross-functional teams, including marketing, sales, and operations, to align pricing initiatives with business objectives
- Provide reports and analysis on pricing performance, P&L impact, and key insights and recommendations
- Stay updated on industry best practices and emerging trends in Ecommerce pricing and P&L management
Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in business, finance, economics, or a related field
- 3 years + Proven experience in pricing analysis, auditing, or related roles, preferably within an ecommerce or retail environment
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data sets and identify patterns and trends
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in data analysis
- Proficiency in using pricing analysis tools and software
- Familiarity with ecommerce platforms and their pricing structures
- Solid understanding of pricing strategies, market dynamics, and competitive landscape in the ecommerce industry
- Experience in monitoring and analyzing Profit and Loss (P&L) impact
- Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking abilities
- Effective communication and collaboration skills
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously
- High level of integrity and professionalism
