The Aruba Global Marketing, Channel Operations Specialist will be responsible for applying developed knowledge to:

• Managing the E2E governance, operations, and support for geo MDF envelope: from driving planning mechanisms (forecast), to commits, and claim reconciliation with geo CMMs, PBMs, and DBPMs.
• Evangelize the Aruba Global Marketing Strategic initiatives
• Work across key stakeholders
• Streamline and support MDF geo operations process improvement efforts
• Development and training delivery for MDF Channel Operations activities in conjunctions with various broader efforts.
• Serve as a MDF Tool SME to support across the organization such as SFDC
• Troubleshooting complex MDF cases and claim resolutions or facilitate support tickets to get in contact with the correct teams.
• Engage with teams such as PSM & Validation to influence and encourage claim and validation process improvements.
• Support analytical and data reporting for MDF geo progress KPIs and claim progress to planning to close.

Education and Experience Required:

• BA or BS in Marketing or related field
• 5+ years marketing experience, including offering marketing, segment marketing, channel marketing and partner marketing.
• Agency, sales and/or channel experience a plus

Knowledge and Skills:

• Knowledge of marketing principles, practices, tactics and tools.
• Knowledge of offering, segment, partner and account- based marketing.
• Knowledge of advertising/ direct marketing/research vendor practices and procedures.
• Understanding of the industry, offering categories and company offerings/strategy.
• Strong project and budget management skills.
• Excellent written/oral communications.
• Strong analytical skills.
• Strong interpersonal skills.
• Ability to manage and influence virtual teams.
• Strong negotiating skills.
• Ability to interface effectively with multiple levels of management and functional disciplines.

• Develop/execute/evaluate marketing strategies and tactics that drive demonstrable revenue, share gains and customer/partner engagement.

Complexity:

• Moderate to high – Deals with moderately complicated strategic/tactical issues; interfaces with senior marketing management, other company functions/organizations, marketing partners and end customers.
