Job Description:
We are looking for an experienced Proposal Writer to contribute to our business growth by creating persuasive and compelling proposals that align with DPV Transportation's goals and objectives. As a Proposal Writer, you will be responsible for crafting well-structured and articulate proposals, bids, and other business documents to secure new contracts and partnerships. You will collaborate with various departments and subject matter experts to gather relevant information and ensure the accurate and timely completion of proposals.
Responsibilities:
Research, write, and edit high-quality proposals, bids, and other business documents in response to RFPs (Requests for Proposals), RFQs (Request for Quotations), and other solicitations.- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Sales, Operations, and Finance, to gather information necessary for proposal development.
- Conduct thorough analysis and review of proposal requirements, identifying key themes and incorporating winning strategies.
- Create compelling narratives, value propositions, and solution summaries that clearly communicate DPV Transportation's capabilities and advantages.
- Ensure compliance with proposal guidelines, formatting, and submission requirements.
- Review and edit proposals for clarity, consistency, grammar, and overall quality.
- Maintain a repository of proposal content, templates, and standardized responses for future use.
- Stay updated on industry trends, market intelligence, and best practices in proposal writing
Requirments
- Proven experience as a Proposal Writer, preferably in the transportation or logistics industry.
- Strong understanding of proposal development processes and the ability to manage multiple proposals simultaneously.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English, with the ability to articulate complex concepts clearly and concisely.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and experience with proposal management software is a plus.
- Exceptional organizational and time management skills to meet tight deadlines.
- Detail-oriented with a keen eye for accuracy and consistency.
- Ability to work collaboratively and build relationships with stakeholders at all levels.
- Familiarity with transportation industry terminology, regulations, and best practices is advantageous.
