Plathong is looking for a restaurant manager who will be working with our team to provide the best experience for our customers.
Requirements
- At least 3 years of the related work experience
- At least NZ Register Diploma Level 5 qualification may substitute for the experience (overseas qualifications must be comparable to the standard of the New Zealand qualification)
- Knowledge of Thai food ingredients as we take food allergies seriously
Job Description
- Planning menus in consultation with chefs
- Planning and organising special functions
- Coordinating daily front of the house and back of the house restaurant operations
- Arranging the purchasing and pricing of goods according to budget
- Maintaining records of stock levels and financial transactions
- Controlling operational costs and identifying measures to cut waste
- Estimating future needs for goods, kitchen utensils and cleaning products
- Regularly reviewing product quality and researching new suppliers
- Ensuring dining facilities comply with health regulations and are clean, functional and of suitable appearance
- Delivering superior service and maximising customer satisfaction with meals and service
- Responding efficiently and accurately to customer complaints
- Selecting, training and supervising waiting and kitchen staff
- Organising and supervising shifts for waiting and kitchen staff
- Promoting the restaurant in the local community
- Implementing policies and protocols that will maintain future restaurant operations
- May taking reservations, greeting guests and taking orders
Other detail
- This is a full-time and permanent position
- Wage payment is $29.66 per hour, and you will be paid weekly
- Holiday pay and sick leave will be paid according to the law
- You will be working at 609 Mount Eden Road, Auckland
- We are open from Monday to Sunday 5.00 pm 10.00 pm
- You will work according to a roaster 5 - 6 days each week with a guarantee of 30 hours (a maximum of 48 hours)
