Introduction
Exciting roles for academics with 8-10 year work experience and interest for high tech and supply chain. ASML is looking for a very ambitious talent who can play a crucial role in the supply chain processes related to ASML’s newest cutting-edge machines. You will prepare and manage the customer supply chain planning of after-sales service and upgrades, installations and relocations close to/ in the factory of ASML’s customers.
Context of position
ASML’s supply chain department is continuously aiming to better serve ASML’s customers, by for example providing after-sales maintenance and installations, relocation and complex upgrade services at the site of our customers. During these events (a significant) part of the machine is replaced by modules that allow for e.g., increased output and enhanced specifications. These on-site activities create extremely demanding requirements for the supply chain processes, driven by the sensitivity of the parts (cleanroom handling only), the strict needs to minimize machine downtime and the constantly changing specifications of machines. We will enable our customers to be successful in their fabs, be number one in customer service ranked by our customers, and run CS as a business with specific installed-base revenue targets.
All these processes ultimately enable ASML’s customers such as Intel and Samsung to continue improving the performance of the laptops, tablets and smartphones that we all use.
Ensure successful delivery of all logistic requirements for events in the region. Contribute to the logistic project team to ensure that the (thousands of) high-tech parts are delivered on-time, on-spec and at the right quality at the customer site. Meet the delivery requirements that have been agreed with the customers and ASMLs engineering team. In between events initiate and drive continuous improvement to optimize logistical costs.

Job Description
- Collect/predict demand, turn to planning & delivery of material to support machine schedule events at customer sites
- Secure field material availability by actively monitoring operational logistics movements
- Drive supply results through ASML sectors with sourcing & procurement
- Manage internal/external stakeholders requirements and expectations
- Listen, clarify, and interpret into actionable items with end to end follow up
- Drive continuous improvements on efficiency and accuracy of inventory planning
Candidate’s profile
- Knowledge of business complexity, supply chain operation of relevant industry
- A tactical thinker with strong interpersonal and communication skills, decision making skills, change management skills
- Can manage high dynamics, whilst having the drive to structurally solve problems
- Advanced analytical and complex problem solving skills, to identify relevant supply chain drivers, as well as perseverance and project management skills to actually generate impact.
- Be able to organize and prioritize workload, and work under pressure
- Result oriented, convincing, pro-active and “can do” mentality, team player
Job Requirements
- Relevant Bachelor degree or above (e.g. Business Administration, supply chain, industrial engineering)
- 8-10 years relevant experience in a large international company, preferably in Supply Chain or logistics positions, and with trade and customs knowledge
- Project management skill and experience
- Fluent communication in English, both written and oral
- Skilled at excel for data analysis, PPT to presentation; SAP knowledge is preferred
- Traveling up to 30%
