Während der Ausbildung zum Zerspanungsmechaniker/In können Sie genau diese Dinge im Detail erlernen. Auch nach der Ausbildung bieten sich Weiterbildungsmöglichkeiten zum Meister/in oder Techniker/in an.
Berufsbild:
Der Zerspanungsmechaniker/In ist eine ausgebildete Fachkraft in der Metallverarbeitung auf konventionellen oder CNC gesteuerten Zerspanungsmaschinen.
Sein Verantwortungsbereich besteht in der Planung bis zur Fertigung von komplexen Bauteilen auf z.B. Bohr-, Dreh-, Schleif- und Fräsmaschinen. Durch die Herstellung von Serien- aber auch Einzelteilen gehört die Programmierung von Fertigungsmaschinen zu wiederkehrenden Tätigkeiten.
Ausbildungsinhalte:
- Zerspanen von Bauteilen mit konventionellen Bohr-, Dreh-, Schleif-, und Fräsmaschinen nach Zeichnungsangaben.
- Erlernen der Programmierung von CNC Dreh- sowie Fräsmaschinen. Zusammenbau von eigen hergestellten Bauteilen zu funktionablen Vorrichtungen.
- Grundkenntnisse von hydraulischen und pneumatischen Steuerungen.
Dauer und Beginn:
- 3 jährige Dualausbildung im luxemburgischen Schulsystem (Lycée technique de Bonnevoie) und im Betrieb (Husky-Dudelange).
- Die Ausbildung beginnt jeweils im September und wird in der deutschen Sprache durchgeführt.
Voraussetzungen:
- Einen Schulabschluss mit guten Zensuren in Mathematik und Naturwissenschaften
- Interesse an Technik, Mathe und Physik
- Handwerkliches Geschick
- Logisches Denken und räumliches Vorstellungsvermögen
- Sprachkenntnisse in Englisch sind von Vorteil
Die Berufsschule befindet sich in Luxemburg und eine Anmeldung bei der ADEM ist erforderlich.

Are you interested in technical work and do you like working in a team? Would you like to understand technical processes? Are you interested in machining metals on cutting machines?
During your training as a cutting machine operator, you can learn exactly these things in detail. After the apprenticeship, there are also further training opportunities to become a master craftsman or technician.
Job description:
The cutting machine operator is a trained specialist in metal processing on conventional or CNC-controlled cutting machines.
His or her responsibilities range from the planning to the production of complex components on e.g. drilling, turning, grinding and milling machines. Due to the production of series but also individual parts, the programming of production machines is a recurring activity.
Training content:
- Machining of components with conventional drilling, turning, grinding and milling machines according to drawings.
- Learning to program CNC lathes and milling machines. Assembling self-made components into functional devices.
- Basic knowledge of hydraulic and pneumatic controls.
Duration and start:
3-year dual training in the Luxembourg school system (Lycée technique de Bonnevoie) and in the company (Husky-Dudelange). The training starts in September each year and is conducted in the German language.Registration with ADEM is required.
Requirements:
- A school-leaving certificate with good grades in mathematics and science.
- Interest in technology, maths and physics
- Manual dexterity
- Logical thinking and spatial imagination
- Knowledge of English is an advantage
