Job Summary :
Our biorepository activities are growing rapidly, and we are looking to add to our sample processing team in Leuven! The Laboratory Technologist will aid in the development and growth of the biorepository sample processing department. The ideal candidate will have strong critical thinking and problem solving abilities.
Responsibilities :
  • Perform testing in the PMBC lab;
  • Work with the Project Management team to ensure appropriate procedures are in place to adequately provide the proper results and products for sponsors;
  • Monitor and manage inventory counts;
  • Actively troubleshoot errors and test results while working with management to propose possible solutions and/or procedural updates when needed;
  • Develop and implement new procedures or processes needed in the future in the processing laboratory; and
  • Train in how to prepare ancillary buffers and reagents manufactured by the Biorepository/Sample Archives department.
Qualifications :
  • Bachelor's degree in a Biological Science field or Chemical Science field;
  • Attention to detail; and
  • Strong communication and organization skills.
