About the Role:

As a Supply Chain Analyst, you will join a great team in Partnerships and Business Services within Procurement and Premises. In our team, we are 6 people in Denmark and one in Lithuania. You will be located at the Danske Bank office in Høje Taastrup, 5 minutes from the train station. From February 2024, we will move into our new and modern domicile in the heart of Central Copenhagen.

Our team are a part of Procurement and Premises, comprising 150 employees spread across Denmark, Sweden, Norway, Finland, United Kingdom, and Lithuania buying a wide range of products and services from more than 7000 suppliers worldwide.

In procurement we purchase goods and services to support the value chain towards the customer. In Danske Bank we have outsourced serval services to different suppliers and in Procurement we support the whole purchasing process from start and until the contract is signed. We work with suppliers like Nets, Mastercard, FinansDanmark, MobilePay, Swift and many more.

How to execute Supply Chain Analyst activities:

  • You will be supporting our Category Managers with analytical support.
  • You will do in depth market analysis, benchmarking and supplier relationship overviews
  • You will Perform analysis and reports e.g. in Excel and/or power points
  • You will suggest and align spend optimization activities, as well as securing cost transparency
  • You will create contractual and financial overview towards strategic suppliers
  • You will support the mandatory risk monitoring of suppliers to secure compliance with all relevant frameworks

Who are you?

To succeed in this role, we imagine you have written and verbal communication skills, along with excellent PowerPoint and Excel skills. You enjoy transforming data into high-quality presentations and have a self-driven, proactive approach, with a preference for structured and detail-oriented work. Besides this, you bring to the position:

  • Relevant education in Economics, Business Administration, or a related field, with a preference for joint courses in supply chain
  • Just finished your studies or have a few years of experience from your first job
  • Previous experience as a student worker in the banking, finance industry, or consulting during your studies
  • Advanced language proficiency in both English and Danish
