Tasks
- Design, develop, and maintain backend systems and APIs to support our software applications
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including frontend developers, product managers, and QA engineers, to define and implement efficient and scalable solutions
- Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code following best practices and coding standards
- Perform code reviews and provide constructive feedback to ensure a high-quality codebase
- Optimize and improve the performance, scalability, and security of our backend systems
- Identify and troubleshoot issues, debug problems, and implement timely solutions
- Stay updated with industry trends and advancements in backend technologies, and actively contribute ideas to enhance our technical stack
- BSc/MSc in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field or any related field
- Strong experience in backend development, including proficiency ideally in Node.js or programming languages such as Python, Java or Ruby.
- Solid understanding of database systems, data modeling, and SQL
- Experience working with RESTful APIs and integrating with third-party services
- Knowledge of software development methodologies, version control systems, and
- agile practices
- Familiarity with cloud platforms, such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud, and understanding of serverless architecture is a plus
- Understanding of security principles and best practices in backend development
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Proficiency in English, additional languages are a plus
