General description of your responsibilities:

Global Responsibility of brand development of the Mitas tire brand.

What can you look forward to?

  • The Brand Director of Mitas will support and deliver the necessary tools and messaging to drive our business forward for the Mitas tire brand, taking a strong Brand Led approach to build Mitas as a highly desirable brand amongst its audience, customers and end users alike. Tailoring the audience with a strong sense of understanding of the business, the full brand portfolio and from this derive the maxiumum business value out of Mitas across all markets.
  • This individual will lead the brand marketing team of Mitas to deliver the needs of the organization and will support a highly motivated and active sales team within the identified region. This person is there to excite, engage people across the company to secure maximum stickiness with the customers across the globe.

In detail:

  • Provide leadership, direction and motivation for Mitas as one of our two strong brands in our portfolio.
  • Provide guidance and support to the leadership team
  • A conduit across all functions
  • In touch with the markets, growing existing ones and exploring new markets.
  • Interact with regional marketing directors and GM: s across to learn and share
  • A change agent and cheerleader of the organization. Conviction led with humble confidence
  • Manage the local brand marketing team of 3 people across digitial, training and development and PR.
  • Ability to meet with Key customers and gain buy-in / sell the values of the organization
  • Utilize existing and implement new tools to help lead the organization
  • Ability to interpret conditions and alter course
  • Create brand marketing campaigns in close collaboration with the rest of the central marketing team.
  • Manage product portfolio in close collaboration with R&D and the Product Management Team.
  • Brand Strategy – new product releases – rationalization as required
  • Manage market pricing in close collaboration with the global pricing team colleagues.
  • Identify necessary events and actions to fuel the brand love of Mitas.
  • Brand Governance

Secure the base: consistency and coherency of the company branding policy at 360°, across all the tools both off and on line, sites, products and services. Coordinate the visual identity of all business segments and that Mitas is consistently executed like for like across markets, in order to support the brand reputation and positioning in the portfolio.

  • Communication Plan

Define and execute on both short and long term Brand Plan and its implementation in accordance with the global Marketing communications strategy as well as corporate guidelines. Sharpen and define the role of Mitas in relationship to portfolio, competition and future aspirations.

  • PR & Events

Evaluate participation to the most relevant international exhibitions for all the Mitas business segments. Design, develop and activate the PR strategy feeding the relevant channels and tools in collaboration with central brand team.

  • Advertising, Medias and Automation

Develop media contents and follow up the appropriate media plan. Activate advertising & automation campaigns to secure Brand exposure while supporting reputation and positioning across all off and on line channels and for all the TWS industry segments

What we expect from you:

  • Leadership and engagement of teams,
  • At least more than 7 years senior experience in marketing, brand or communications in a mid to larger international corporation with demonstrated ability to run large scale cross functional projects.
