Role Title: Social Media Co-Ordinator & Content creator

Employment Type: Contract/Temp role, 4 day per week role on a contract basis. Min 3 days in the office and 1 day at home
After 3 months potential extension to full time/emplyoyee for the right candidate.

SFC is a rapidly growing Flight College and Club located at Bankstown Aerodrome. For over 50 years we have trained the next generation of pilots. In the midst of an expansion, we are currently seeking a talented and motivated Social Media Co-Ordinator /Content Creator.
POSITION SUMMARY
This role has been created due to the expansion that we are experiencing at SFC.
We are looking for an experienced High Trust, High experienced, Passionate individual ready to take on an exciting social media/digital portfolio within the creative team.
You will be working closely with the Head of Marketing to create the strategy and then the Graphic design team ( Head Graphic Designer and Jnr) as well as written content creator, to ensure you have what you need to execute your strategy and bring creative ideas to life.
Key responsibilities will include:
Social Media Strategy/ Management: Plan, create, and schedule social media posts across various platforms like Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, U- tube and LinkedIn, ensuring consistent branding and messaging. TikTok and You Tube will be emerging platforms that we will be working with.
Campaign Execution: Plan and execute Facebook/ Instragram marketing campaigns, from brainstorming ideas to coordinating with the design team, setting up ad placements, and monitoring campaign performance.
Content Creation: Consistently develop engaging and relevant content, including photos, videos, to be used in social media posts, Ads, EDMs, Newsletters and other marketing materials
Community Engagement: Monitor comments, messages, and mentions on social media platforms, responding to inquiries, comments, and messages promptly and engaging with the audience to build a strong community.
Analytics and Reporting: Analyze social media metrics, track key performance indicators (KPIs), and generate reports to measure the success of campaigns and strategies, making data-driven decisions for future improvements.
Influencer Collaboration: Identify and reach out to potential influencers or brand advocates for partnerships, negotiate collaboration terms, and manage influencer relationships to expand brand reach.
Market Research: Stay updated on industry trends, competitor activities, and customer preferences to adjust marketing strategies accordingly and maintain a competitive edge.
Email Marketing: Create, manage, and send marketing emails, newsletters, and promotional materials to the subscriber list, segmenting the audience as necessary for targeted messaging.
Content Calendar Management: Maintain an organized content calendar that outlines upcoming campaigns, posts, and events, ensuring a consistent posting schedule and content alignment with overall marketing goals.
Collaboration and Coordination: Work closely with cross-functional teams such as design, sales, and product development to align marketing efforts with company objectives and ensure a cohesive brand presence across all channels.
Qualifications: To be successful in this role you will need to demonstrate the following.
- High degree of computer literacy in (but not restricted to), Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Canva, HopperHQ, Mailchimp
- Two years previous social media/content creation experience managing multiple social media sites.
- Experience/ in-depth knowledge of Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, Linkedin, U Tube.
- Creative thinking with a focus on delivering innovative and engaging content.
- Understanding and ability to interpret Google/digital analytics data and metrics to measure campaign performance and provide meaningful insights from multiple data sources.
- Understanding of emerging marketing trends to relevant business opportunities
- Must be independent and highly self-driven
- Must have a high work ethic, passionate
- Must be open to feedback to support the growth of the company
- Excellent interpersonal skills with an ability to communicate and influence effectively at all levels.
- Manage relationships with internal and external stakeholders
