Key responsibilities include the following:

• Stock Control

• Management of Customer Complaints logged on the system

• Ensure Customer Satisfaction at all times

• Escalation of unresolved complaints to management

• Leave Administration

• Capture all approved leave requests on the system

• Overtime Administration

• Capture all OT on the system

• Attendance Register Administration

• Ensure that relevant documents are attached where needed

• Oversee the procurement of resources for projects

• Weekly and monthly tasks allocation

• Mentor and guide staff to carry out their duties

• IOD reporting

• Effective management of poor or non-performance of staff

• Effective management of Disciplinary Issues as the University’s Disciplinary Code/Code of Conduct, with the help of HR/ER Office

• Assist with any administrative duties as per instructions/based on operational needs

• Bookings of ad hoc services needed by the division

• Keeping abreast with Industry Trends and Best Practice

Requirements

• Matric

• Environmental Services related qualifications or any other relevant qualification

• Valid Driver’s License Basic administrative and filing skills

• 2-5 years horticultural maintenance

Technical Competencies

• MS Office

• Sound Knowledge and understanding of arboriculture

• Sound Knowledge and understanding of insect infestation treatment

• Sound Knowledge and understanding of OHS&E

Competencies (Knowledge, skills and behavior)

Compliance /statutory requirements /Knowledge, Understanding and or training)
